“I have worked with this mare many times. Unfortunately this mare has navicular syndrome on both legs and needs a lot of support.

With ordinary shoes I found she was laming every 3-4 weeks so I changed to a hardbar shoe with leather pads. This was initially ok but after a couple of months she started laming again and the Vet diagnosed Laminitis and she could not be shod during the treatment.

During her laminitis treatment she was barefoot and her hoof wall as a consequence was so damaged that traditional nailed shoes were just not an option.

I found Glushu online and thought they would be a perfect solution for this horse both in terms of her ongoing navicular and her temporary hoof wall problems.

There were lots of options with Glushu and I chose to incorporate Glushu inserts for extra support.

This horse is now happy and back on her feet.
