"This is my client Luna, she is a 14 year old Irish Cob. Luna's problems started with a very bad bout of laminitis in summer 2018. This summer saw further problems with her hoof. Examination revealed rotation and coffin bone lowering with hoof abscess in the outer toe wall. Things looked so bad that euthanasia was being seriously considered. We were determined to give this horse a second chance but knew a lot of treatment would be needed.

The bacterial attack in the hoof was so severe we decided to completely remove the affected wall.

In order to help with recuperation, we knew the hoof could not be left as is and needed a shoeing solution that could be applied without nailing. I have used Glushu glue on horse shoes a lot for other tricky cases so knew that they would be a great option.

We used Glushu along with padding to ensure maximum protection and comfort whilst the hoof recovered.

We are so pleased with Lunas progress. I think the before and after x-rays speak for themselves. Glushu have been essential in her recovery. I am delighted to say this mare is doing very well and is up and running in her field.
