From Tom:

This mare has been a true test for GluShu

1 year on.

After being written off by a vet due to her conformation and nailed on steel shoes causing so much damage to the hooves we decided to try Glushu.

The first pair did not last the full cycle due to the hooves being so weak they just broke away - glue still holding well. We had a brief period barefoot before the next pair was glued 2 weeks later. We are on application 7 now and the hooves have never looked so strong. This mare was lame barefoot and intermittent with nailed shoes, she has been sound ever since being in Glushu.

These shoes have recently been trekking across rocky terrain in North Wales for many miles and despite being on 7 solid weeks and covering a great distance they were still difficult to remove.

I have also had larger horses in Glushu galloping down beaches and trenching through deep mud paddocks with no issues and finally horses that are so bad for pulling shoes tend to keep them on also.

It’s all about the application !

Glu Shu top tips:

1. Always fast fix

2. Warm the glue up

3. Thoroughly glue the heels

4. Don’t wrap

5. Use plenty of glue
