Farrier Report: Glushu for big hooves.

“Hello everyone, this is my client who need my help following a horn column operation. This horse is usually barefoot but needed a little extra support after the procedure.

The local farrier was a bit overwhelmed with the size of the hooves and called me in as I have a lot of experience with trickier and larger feet.

A big problem was the condition of the hooves resulted in constant traditional shoe loss, so we switched to GluShu. This horse has big feet, and we used a Glushu Draft size 8. Glushu are non-invasive so great for horses that are not usually shod.

The hoof has the support he needs and now everything can grow out.

When the hoof recovers, he will go back to barefoot.”
