From Ronald Aalders:
“This was an interesting case of White Line Disease.
Usually, a farrier an easily spot WLD since it creeps up along the white line upward. This case however likely started as an abscess the horse suffered from previously, that broke open at the coronary band. The white line showed no signs of that amount of WLD.
All undermined horn was removed. The horse was shod with a glue on shoe by Glue-U, called GluShu, a pad with some support for the frog and a floated area where the wall was removed.
This is the first package that we put on trying to get this good looking horse sound again. #sigronpodiatry”
