Farrier Report: Mini Glushu for laminitic pony.

“We were called into help every little girls favourite pony at this farm. He was having a little laminitis flare up.

We wanted to keep the application simple so the existing Farrier could carry this out after a couple rotations.

I chose a glue u shoe mini size 9.5. I installed this in a reverse application with rocker toe mechanics. Being that this is a reverse shoe application the rocker toe is actually the heels of the shoe. I removed some heel and a lot of dorsal toe to allow for better alignment and ease of break over. There were no blocks or sedation used in this process.
