From Joel:

“Here’s a recent Glushu shoeing job with my client Sandy who suffers with chronic laminitis.

We used a 00 front Glushu, Glushu frog insert, Glu u A 30 soft pour in w/ added mesh & Shu fit acrylic

I used a generic 2 part to set the shoe. Poured cuff on ground

Shoe modified -

  • Removed toe cuff to set breakover

  • Dressed a rolled toe into the toe and chamfered the heels to ease loading

  • Palmar bumper pour of the pour in urethane as the added length improved her posture and balance

She will get her hinds done as well with a 3 degree pad

She really liked the support and comfort

She couldn’t stand well and the prefix setting of the shoe was the key.

Both Sandy and myself are very happy with the Glushu results.”
