From Ronald:

“I was asked by a farrier why GLUSHU given all of the choices we have nowadays?

Where all shoes have a time and place, when glueing I find myself using GLUSHU most by far for several reasons.

Important ones are:

  • The aluminium core, allowing me to do all that I could build in a regular shoe, including SAPAS and the use of (wedge)pads.

  • The cuffs: allowing a big glueing area in my experience securing the shoe much better compared to composite shoes that are glued just to the foot surface.

  • These shoes also have a sufficiently high cuff. Important when you use pads.

  • The thickness of the pad obviously reduces the effective height of the cuff because the foot is raised by the height of the pad. 4 to 5 mm easily or even more.

  • And let's not forget availability and price. Where all glueing applications can get really expensive, GLUSHU sure is a whole lot cheaper than other types of glue on applications I came across.

I hope this helps you? #sigronpodiatry
