Farrier Review: Glushu for laminitis and thin sole.

Another fantastic report from expert farrier Ulrich Gerusal who has used Glushu glue on horse shoes to help a horse with laminitis and thin sole. Ulrich regularly uses Glushu for many different hoof problems so be sure to check out more of his work on Facebook.

“Hello, this is my latest client who unfortunately suffers with laminitis and a thin sole. I regularly us Glushu glue on’s for horses with laminitis and was confident they would be a good solution for this pony.

As you can see from the pictures I have opened up the Glushu toe for good rolling. The Glushu is fixed by Glu-U A50.

The end of the shoe is ground at an angle, which reduces the punctual pressure in the toe wall. The Glushu supports the hoof and gives less tension to the tendon.
