Farrier Review: Glushu when nailing is not an option.

Thank you to expert farrier Pete Rowlay for sharing how he used Glushu to help a horse who had difficulty nailing due to poor hoof wall. “Off with old and on with new Glushu’s.

This horse is a struggle to shoe as they have such a poor hoof wall. I needed a solution that would not involve nailing but offer the support to help the hoof improve.

Glushu have proven to be a great alternative for when you cannot nail. I use the Glushu with heart bar inserts as it takes pressure off wall allowing to the hoof to strengthen.

This is a temporary measure and we hope to be able to get back into steel shoes soon.
